He chewed as quietly as he could, washing the sandwich down with some milk. “What? It’s not like you’ve never seen that before. It’s not like you’ve ever eaten all dainty-like.”
“Excuse me,” she said, taking a dainty bite. ”I am the epitome of dainty!”
Xander pointed at her and shook his head. “Only because I said something!”
“But I have never put a half a sandwich in my mouth!” She said indignantly.
Xander stared. “You and Marina would steal food from my plate all the time!” he said. “So a half of sandwich is nothing!”
“It is if you put it all in your mouth at once!” She laughed, “It must be Mary Poppins’ handbag in there!”
